Question Installation problem !!!

Hi, I got the following error at installation, can you tell me how to reslove the issue ?

Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/motorbik/public_html/components/com_community"
Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/home/motorbik/public_html/administrator/components/com_community"

hmmm? What are you trying to install? Kunena is installed into folder com_kunena and will not collide with the folder Com_community.

If I remember right, this is the folder of Jomsocial (or perhaps Community Builder?).


Is it an upgrade? If yes, perhaps you could deactivate the setting from yes to no for Jomsocial or CB in the database-table: jos_fb_config (if this still exists).

Into field fb_profile = fb
into field cb_profile = 0


This is, what I would try, this are only a few thoughts of mine.

No it's not an upgrade, it's a new install. I do already have Jomsocial installed so I don't know why it's trying to use the same folders ?

Is there anyway around this ? I am not very technical to be honest !! :blush:

Perhaps you could test to install another archiv ending.
