Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

How to put categories in Kunena was created by Fran
can someone please explain how I can make categories in kunena so I can get the forum to start working. At the moment I am not able to post anything on my forum and it says it's because there are no categories, but I can't figure out how to set it up. Please help. I am using Joomla 1.5.11. Thanks.

thank you. I have followed everything listed there, and I was able to make a category. However, i am STILL not able to make any post. There is no button for new topic showing. Is there some secret setting that needs to be changed for the forum to start working? I wish the setup could be a little more user friendly for us dummies! Please help

nevermind, i just worked it out. I had to make a category, and then make ANOTHER category within the first category!!
