Hiya, suppose you wanted to show a brief descritpion in a child board (to make it clear as an example in this same forum, suppose you wanted to add a description in the "Greek" child board in the language section). How do you do it?

Cheers

Replied by sozzled on topic Description in Child Boards
You create a descriptions for sub-Categories (the preferred term for "child boards") the same as you would for Categories. This is mentioned in Sections, Categories, sub-Categories (Part 1) .

To use an example from this forum, look at any sub-Category labelled "Archive" and you will see the category description when you view its index of topics.

Ah, okay. I knew that the description would show if I viewed its index of topics, what I meant was to have it shown before even clicking the main category, but I guess it can't be done and it would probably look a mess anyway...;p Thanks!
