I have recently started playing with Kunena having not had a requirment to utilise a forum component on my own or client website for a couple of years whereby I was using Fireboard.

I have installed v1.5.12 stable to a test site and have been playing with some of the functionality.
I know there are standard mod tools built in for changing/splitting/merging posts. Is there any function to add temporary suspensions for users?
Obvioiusly perma bans can be issued through an account ban at the back end and I did notice that there are some plans for IP/username bans in v1.6.

Thanks in advance :)

G'day, eneless, and welcome to Kunena.

K 1.5.x feature development is at an end and the features that you're discussion are not implemented in that version. Just to correct one minor point you made, there isn't a topic splitting facility in K 1.5.

The features you've mentioned have been implemented (or will be implemented) in K 1.6

K 1.6 allows editing posts, splitting/merging topics and thread (or message) deletion.

K 1.6 allows temporary (time-limited) suspension of users' posting rights.

K 1.6 allows permanent banning of users' access to the website.

The banning features also allow for deletion of messages.

There will be a suspension/ban feature based on IP address. This feature has not yet been implemented in K 1.6 but it should be added in the very near future.

I hope I've been able to answer your questions.
