Question Post count has suddenly dropped

We noticed this morning that some of us have experienced our post count has dropped dramatically. I haven't looked into how many people it has affected, but it has affected two administrators and a moderator. Any ideas what has caused this?

Because the internal trash category for moderators has been deleted, so all posts put in these categories has been deleted.

I am not entirely sure what you mean when you refer to the internal trash category for moderators. This is the first time this has ever happened. Although it's not something I am bothered about, it would be nice to know why some people have dropped by 800 posts.

Thanks for the extra information about the effect. I suspect that xillibit may have thought that you were referring to some internal changes that have recently been made here at Kunena.com.

To be honest with you, I don't know why the counts have changed. The thoughts that cross my mind are that the counts were wrong in the first place (and that something has righted them); or, maybe, the counts were right in the first place (and something has wronged them). Have you tried "recount statistics" and "synchnonize users" functions? I don't know if these will have any effect. It's just an uneducated guess.

Didn't really make any difference by recounting statistics, well, not really that bothered.
