How to move Posts to another Thread?

I am using Kunena 1.5.9 with joomla 1.5.18

I hope you don't mind, but I moved your discussion topic from the Support category to the Common Questions category.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by your question, "How to move posts to another thread?" Do you want to know how to move a discussion topic from one category to another category (which is what I did with yours) or do you want to know how to merge a discussion topic with another discussion topic, or would you like to know how to merge one posting in one discussion topic with another thread?

Very simply, you can only merge threads/posts with other threads if the two threads are in the same category.

Lastly, but even more importantly, there were several improvements made with K 1.5.12 in this area. I strongly urge you to upgrade to K 1.5.12 as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi aceintheplace, this must be easy:
Go to categories and see the topics> On yor right, there should be chekbox for each topic, go and chek the one you wish to move. Then go to bottom and see a two dropmenus. Frist one give you two options, dellete and move, choose move and from the second dropmenu choose where to move it. That should do the job.

Replace the Word Thread with Topic.
So I want so Move a single Post (Inside Topic "A") to another Topic (Topic "B").
What You did is: You moved my newly created topic to another category (I think so )

the post (from Topic "A") with another thread (Topic "B"). As long as "A" and "B" are in the same category you can merge posts (or whole threads) with another thread/topic.

Okay, this works.. And how to merge into another Category? Is there a trick ore something?
