Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi I'm just setting up a new site with a Kunena forum (i've got version 1.5.5 installed)

When users try to add BBcode these seem to work somewhat randomly.

For example img tags does not work (except when editing a post then the image show in the message history pane below the edit window)

version 1.5.5 is no longer supported please upgrade to version 1.5.11

all this is solved in the latest version of kunena. Upgrade from K1.5.5 to K1.5.11.

Ok thanks, upgrading was easy enough :-)

Seem to work with the img tag. My friends YouTube video doesn't show though, but maybe he did something wrong when posting...

Also an img-tag where the url does not end with a valid image filename extension (i.e. .jpg) seem to fail. I guess this is a security thing?

not really a security thing just it only works for valid picture other wise it just fails.
