Kunena 7.0.8 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Whenever I use the BB coding it always get's changed after posting. For example, if I were t use it would be changed to <strong> which doesn't work on my forums & makes <strong> show up in any posts with bold.

Is there anyway that I can fix this?

can you provide me a login and th url of your site ( IN PM ) so i can see this for myself, as im certain i know the problem but want to make sure my answer fit exactly to your problem.


FYI: <strong> is not a BBCode tag its HTML and HTML will not work in kunena

Like, if I use the BBcode as soon as it is posted it changes to <strong> and doesn't work.

BINGO!!!!

Took all of 3 seconds to find your issue, it is indeed a JS conflict caused by ROCKET THEMES, if you do a search of these forum you will find 100s of post regarding how bad they are and how many problem they cause and sadly there modules are worse for causing issue.

Some of the known culprits:

From Rocket Themes:

* RokBox
* RokCandy
* RokGZipper

From Others: ( so i dont sound like it only rocket themes that cause this )

* yvbbcode
* com_clickheat
* woopera plugin
