Question Installation Directory
On this site, the Forum is in the /forum/ directory.
I would like this on my site so the forum opens full screen in another window instead of having it embedded in the main page.
I look forward to your suggestions - Thank you in advance.

However, in relation to your question about how to open Kunena in its own window devoid of anything else on your website this is possible ... with a bit of a fiddle. We've discussed this several times before (I haven't had time to do a search for you, but I'm sure you will find the earlier references).
Basically, this is the approach:
- Find (or build) a Joomla template that has a minimal number of module positions and that allows a full-width component display area.
- Assign this template to the Joomla menu item that you use for Kunena.
- Edit the menu item to open in a new window.
