Question
Excluding posts from chosen categories in Recent discussion
The answer depends on what criteria you want to use to exclude discussions. Could you be more specific, please, or give us an real-life example of how you would use such a mechanism (if it could be made to work for you)?
Basically, Kunena allows you to choose to display or not display categories but there's no mechanism to select specific topics for display or non display
I have on my forum category which is called "Yours music"
I would like to exclude topics from this category, because these topics are not valuable and I would not to see them in "recent discussions" but they could be seen through directly from category "Yours music".
The critera is presence the posts in that category.
Why do you want to make the distinction between what you can see in "Recent Discussions" and what you can see in "Categories"? Again, it would help to know why you see it necessary to make this distinction.
It sounds like you're overcomplicating matters. What is so special about the "Yours music" category (or whatever you call it) that you need to eliminate showing what recent discussions have occurred. Why not just show the "Categories" view as the default view? Wouldn't that be just as effective?
I still don't understand what, how or why you need to achieve this.
