Problems showing Kunena boardcode tools was created by Pinoy
I just installed Kunena 1.5.11 in my Joomla 1.5.17, template is default_ex.
The Forum used to be phpbb3 in which I upgraded to Fireboard then to Kunena 1.5.11
When posting, I have this text code in the barcode between the Underline text and Strikethrough text:
', '');" onmouseover = "javascript:kunenaShowHelp('Underline text: text')" />
I tried un-installing Kunena and Re-installing but that did not help.
Can anyone help?
Thank you.

G'day, Pinoy, and welcome to the forum.
You look to be having have a conflicting module, involving Javascript, that's screwing up Kunena. What kind of site template are you using. Many of the RocketTheme templates install Javascript functions that interfere with Kunena - things like RokCandy - try uninstalling those things.
Two other alternatives:
If this doesn't help, please send details of how we can look at your website to see what's happening.

Two other alternatives:
- Your installation of Kunena was unsuccessful (even though you say you've done it twice); did you use a .ZIP file to install? Did the install complete successfully?
- You have not enabled Javascript support on your web browser (or your browser does not support Javascript). What kind of browser are you using?

I'm using JA_Purity template, maybe I'll try changing that to another template if it helps.
If that don't help what other details do you need beside my URL?
Thanks

If you are using the standard JA_Purity template then I can't understand why Kunena is not working for you.
As I wrote earlier (which you have not replied to), have you enabled Javascript support on your web browser (the software that you are using to view your website)? What browser are you using?
Also, how did you install Kunena? Did you use a .ZIP file installation? Did you see a "successfully installed" message at the end of the installation process? It's still possible that your installation of Kunena was corrupted and you may need to re-install it again using an alternative method (these are discussed in the Wiki , search for "installation problems").
Lastly, if these tips don't help, it might be necessary to see the problem at first hand for ourselves and, yes, knowing the URL of you website would be a big help.

@sozzled
I was using FF, IE8 browser with the same output.
I just re-installed a fresh Joomla and Kunena on a test site, no barcode problem.
I will add the rest of my Extension, modules, etc. one at a time then point that to my DB if all is good.
Appreciate your help and quick response
Thanks

The word is boardcode. "Barcode" is some kind of thing printed on a bottle of milk that is scanned at a point-of-sale cash register.
Good luck.
Good luck.
