Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello,

I have searched the forum before posting this, but din't find a solution.

On my forum homepage I want an announcement to be displayed just as here on the Kunena forum homepage (referring to the 'Kunena 1.5.11 Released!' announcement)

In order to achieve this I have read your documentation on how set up announcements:
docs.kunena.com/index.php/Announcements_set_up_and_what_is_this

In my backend I have set 'Show Announcement' to Yes and I have correctly filled out the 'Announcement Moderator IDs'.

When I now however am in the frontend of my forum I don't see any button/tag to click by which I can type and publish any announcement. Anyone any idea how to publish announcements.

Please take note I have completly disabled the profilebox: docs.kunena.com/index.php/How_I_can_disa..._or_whole_Profilebox

Does it have to do anything with that? If yes, is there any other way to publish announcements while the profilebox being completly disabled?

Hello,

The link to manage extensions is in profilebox, so if you have disable it you can't access to announcements.
I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
