Question [Merged topic] Change Kunena "Recent Discussions" default time period

i mean all threads, which were wrote by users in the forum.

my problem is, that the "kunena engine" shows all new topics only for a periode in the "Recent Discussions".

after these periode the "kunena engine" doesn't display these topics in the "Recent Discussions".

that is quite o.k., if you have a lot of new topics in your forum. but my forum is not so large, like the forum of "kunena.com".

so i want show my users all topics of my forum in the "Recent Discussions".

i think the solution of my problem is either to change the periode time or to set the "kunena engine", that it show all topics, but i don't know, how it works.

have you some idea ?

I have the same problem. It seems, that in the reccent discoussions are only posts send last month.
I would like to set longer show time.

It's a pity that there isn't a configuration setting that you can change in Kunena. Kunena "Recent Discussions" display the last month, by default, which you can change (of course) using the pull-down.

If you want your site to default to a different value, you need to change one of the Kunena soource files. The general solution is described in How to change in Recent Discussions from Month to Since last visit?

It should be quite straightforward to find the correct line of code that needs to be changed in K 1.5.11

we would like to show recent discusiouns posts older than one month. It would be greit if administrator could set this by simle choosing option in administrator settings.
