hello,
I just startet with a Joomla website for the first time and already installed Kunea 1.5.11 incl. the German translation file. But as I am new in Joomla as well as in Kunea I need a good manual or a helping word. I could not find a real manual in google. I just saw here the wiki and the readme for beginners.

1) How can I set a link from my joomla page or integrate my Kunea-Forum into my website www.studio-komturei.de ?
2) Can I easyly adapt the Kunea-template to my website?

Best

Martin

G'day, matz, and welcome to the forum B)

I recommend the following two books:
  • Using Joomla by Ron Severdia and Kenneth Crowder, published by O'Reilly Media Inc. Ron Severdia is also a member of the Kunena development team.
  • Beginning Joomla! From Novice to Professional by Dan Rahmel, published by Apress. Although this book is a little dated, the general principles are similar.
I own these books, they're excellent value and I know they will answer all your questions for a long time to come! ;)

I am very happy with my new Kunena Forum! Thanks to the developers! Great work and easy to handle!

I just have two questions open:
1) is there anywhere a list of the coulours in the Kunea-Template-CSS-Editor? Ex: #Kunena_top td { background: #FFFFFF
for what part is Kunea_top responsible?
Is there a list that describes what each part is responsible for? Buttom, Header, ...
2) How can I setup Kunena that it will open in a new tab without my website - as a new site?

Best

Hello,

1°) This kind of list doesn't exist, by using firebug (firefox extension) you can find everything on the css of the page.
2°) You can maybe remove all modules, when the kunena is open but you can't use kunena in stand alone.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Thank you, I installed Firebug and I found out the right colour-places. But if I change a colour I get following error message:

* JFolder::create: Infinite loop detected
* JFTP::write: Bad response
* JFTP::delete: Bad response

I made my changes within Joomla in the Kunena CSS Editor
