Hi, I already looked the kunena documentation, but there are some wikis very disperse, out of order, the articles are not in order, not organized.

There are some articles in each link for older versions of kunena, and the articles are in alphabetical order.

I am looking for a tutorial organized by CHAPTERS, that I can read following a logical and sequential ORDER. Articles in alphabetical order are not a good way to show a tutorial!

Can you tell me a link for a organized kunena tutorial?

thanks!

K1.6 is about to be release in teh ALPHA TEST stage once it has passed this and become a STABLE then more tutorials will be written and sorted. the reason for doing this after K1.6 is released is because K1.6 work completely differently to how K1.5x works so alot fo te old tutorials will no longer be current.

Hi,

cool idea to have one tutorial organized in that way.

Unfortunately we are here in our spare time and we have not so much to do what you asking for.

Have you spare time to help as to do something like this?

Regards

thanks quila, but I think tutorials are very important, and should be a PRIORITY.
Sometimes I see great softwares, like Kunena, but with poor documentation.

All users need the documentation very much. And also the documentation is a PRESENTATION for the software.

I am not developer of kunena, and at the moment I have not knowledges to do right the job you ask for.

Actually, I have do disagree with this comment. Not all users require documentation. Kunena is actually quite intuitive to use. Most of the 10,00+ users at www.kunena.com did not read any documentation to post and receive messages in discussion categories available here, to find out where to download the latest stable version of Kunena, to setup their forums, to use the private messaging features or to modify their user profiles. If people can do these things without documentation - dare I say, if you, gato_de_botas, can join and use www.kunena.com without a user manual - then is shows how relatively straightforward it is to use Kunena.

However, I thoroughly agree: we need to get working on the documentation Wiki. It would be ideal if the Wiki were organised in some way but that won't happen until the overall structure is clearly defined in someone's mind, first, and Kunena is radically changing at the moment. So, the best we can hope for is for ordinary users to offer their own helps, tutorials, definitions or "documentation" about Kunena and submit them to the Wiki.

The problems that the developers and the moderation team have are that we are busy answering questions here at www.kunena.com - we could benefit from having the answers in a Wiki - or we're building and testing K 1.6 alpha (and the design is changing each day). If we spent time on the Wiki, the questions here wouldn't get answered and development on K 1.6 would cease.

Kunena is already instaled and working in my site, but I like being an advanced user of any software I use...
That's the reason I need the tutorial.

Maybe the wiki is the solution, but an ORGANIZED wiki, not what we see today.

My opinion is that organization is the solution for everthing...
