Question How to hide BBCode tags (buttons) in editor toolbar??

I want to hide some BBCode tags (buttons) from the editor toolbar (boardcode:).

I know I can hide the 'spoiler tag', 'video tag' and the 'ebay tag' through the 'Kunena Configuration > BBCode > BBCode Settings'. I however also want to hide some other tags in this toolbar (amongst other the 'hidden text tag' and the 'Image link tag'). Can some one explain how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

you can do this in the file

components / com_kunena / template / default / smile.class.php

.
Find line for related code and comment out. Something like this

<!--<img class = "fb-bbcode" title = "Bold" accesskey = "b" name = "addbbcode0" src="<?php echo KUNENA_LIVEUPLOADEDPATH.'/editor/'; ?>text_bold.png" alt="B" onclick = "bbfontstyle('', '');" onmouseover = "javascript:kunenaShowHelp('<?php @print(_KUNENA_EDITOR_HELPLINE_BOLD);?>')" />-->

I won't ask you why you want to, basically, destroy a lot of the good design features of Kunena but, to achieve your goal, add to the bottom of your Kunena CSS file the following lines:

#Kunena .fb_posthint {
display: none;
}

#Kunena .fb-postbuttonset {
border-bottom: 1px solid #BFC3C6;
}

If you don't know what your Kunena CSS file is called or where it is located, please read Before you ask for help with template issues ... :)
