Have you taken a backup of your website recently (using a component like Joomlapack)? Unfortunately, Kunena 1.5 does not have any message recovery facilities. This won't be much comfort to you now, but the future version (K 1.6) will have with a "trashcan" so that you can recover deleted posts should you make this kind of mistake.

Unfortunately, you can only recover messages in K 1.5 from backups of the database ... if you have made any.

Replied by sozzled on topic Re:Weird Board Deletion
Originally this topic was entitled "accidental board deletion" and I was led to believe that the user had actually deleted hundreds of messages on purpose. Now the topic has been changed to "weird board deletion" which seems to suggest that the data loss may not have been a deletion at all.

Is it possible that the action that triggered this event was a Move instead of a Delete?
