Avatar Resolution was created by jugg3r
I am having a problem with the Avatars in my Kunena forum. The image resolution is kinda blurry. I am using GD2 for the image processor.

Small = 50
Medium = 100
Large = 250

Avatar Quality is set to 100%

But they still look kinda fuzzy?

I am using Kunena 1.5.9

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
can you post a screenshout of the avatar you have problem?
Or post a link to page where the problem is present.
What is a size of Avatar you upload?
Do you use some other component for profile page (CB, JS)?

I'm sorry it took me so long to get to this. Here is a screen shot of the avatar directly from the site.

As you can see, it is blurry.

Here is the actual avatar that was used prior to inserting it into Kunena.

I am only using Kunena so not for sure what is happening with the images. I don't use JS or CB.

In the past three weeks there have been two releases of Kunena. Upgrading to K 1.5.11 and using the default_ex template will fix most of these avatar resolution issues. ;)

I am using Kunena 1.5.11 but I must admit that I am not using the default template because I didn't have the time to edit the css to turn the site into what I needed.

So the template could be the issue. I would have to change the template back to the default to find out. I will let you know if that fixes the issue.

No: you should revert to to the default_ex template. There is a default template: don't use it!
