Question Recent Discussions Expanded View

Firstly, excellent forum software!
Can someone help me with a small issue, I can't seem to work out how to make the Recent Discussion page open in an expanded view rather than by topic. I only need the lastest comment in each expanded topic.

Support category, where you posted your question, is intended to be used to address problems with the unmodified core Kunena software - not to ask how to change it - or to report defects that you are encountering - not to ask questions about how to use the software normally. We give these support topics higher priority than other topics, particularly around the time when there is a new release of Kunena (as there was only a couple of days ago), in order to ensure that defects are not passed on to other users. I have moved your topic to a more appropriate section.Now that we've got the preliminaries out of the way, if I understand you question correctly, I think you are asking if there is some way that when you view "Recent Discussions" that you can read the message content of those discussions, is that correct?

I doubt that the "auto expansion" you seek can be achieved within Kunena. The "Recent Discussions" feature has always been intended to display a list of discussions, not the detailed messages posted within them. To do otherwise would defeat the purpose of the "Recent Discussions" feature.

If, however, you're interested in the latest message(s) posted to your forum there are a couple of ways this can be achieved:

1. There is an unofficial "latest posts" module that was developed by one of the users of these forums: see Kunena latest posts module
2. You can also achieve a similar result by using the Kunena RSS feed and I have written how to do that in A simple alternative to the "latest posts module"
