Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I'm looking @ moving from CCboard to either Kunena or phpb3 depending on the support answers I recieve. Unfortunately it looks like ccb is dead.
    phpbb3 has a log of templates and plugins what is kunena doing in this area?
    ccboard has lastest,popular modules.. I don't see this in Kunena that is current
    fireboard had a LOT of coding issues, how is kunena finally resolved this?
    ccboard allows for JCE editor so that images/movies can be easily used. Fireboard never could do this well and I don't see so far that kunena can yet either.
    with Kunena leaning heavily towards JoomSocial what will happen to CB support and will Kunena remain free?

I'm sure i have more but this is plenty to start with.

kunena has both template and plugin managers

    ccboard has lastest,popular modules.. I don't see this in Kunena that is current

some issues have been resolved in 1.5.9 and alot more will be resolved in 1.6 when its released

i personaly dont have any issues with images or imbedded video with K 1.5.9

personaly i dnt use joomsocial so i dnt know about its support.

kunena will always be free thats why i use it

Hello,

There are 1000 bugs fixed since the begining of Kunena and too some sql optimisations.

The CB support will remain in kunena maybe there will be some improvements with the time.

how do i make kunena have the latest post, popular posts, and upload/ display of images&video's?
I'm sorry if these are old repeated questions but I've been having problems adequately finding things here.

for the latest plugin go here

kunena extensions

as for images and video just use the bbcodes

[img]url[/img] and [video]url{/video] or you can use the last 4 icons in the boardcode box first is Picture/images second is weblinks third is ebay listings fourth is videos
