Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello,
I am trying to show modules (example, kunena_announcement) on just a particular forum category.
Is anyone able to help with a solution to this?
Thanks in advance!

The Support category is for "technical support with Kunena ... [and] is mainly meant for bug reports and solving issues", that is issues relating to the core, unmodified, Kunena "product". I think that your question is a more general Joomla-related matter (or it could be considered a question of how you want to design your website) in which case this "Common Questions" or Templates and Design categories would seem to be quite appropriate.
For these reasons I have removed your later message posted elsewhere.
I am not quite sure I understand your question. Do you want to know if it's possible to show the general forum announcement only on a specific forum or category. Is there something particularly wrong with having a general announcement appear on all your forum pages? Have you considered modifying the category or forum description to tailor the "announcement" to an individual forum or category? That's how I would go about it.

Perhaps this is a Joomla question...I was hoping someone might have a hack to do this since it does involve Kunena module positions.
To clarify, here is hopefully a better explaination of what I want to do:
Let's say I have (2) forum categories: "Main" and "Support". Now let's say I create (2) different modules, and I ant to display both modules in the module position 'kunena_announcement'. I want one module to display in "Main" and the other to display in "Support".

for doing what you ask is not possible to publish modules in the kunena_announcement position. You need to load modules based on Category ID.
