Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi there

I am just wondering whether Kunena forum can passing parameter to display the right group?

The reason I am asking this is thta I have a site that based on the city such as Sydney, Melbournet etc etc. I want to be able that if the user click Sydney then when it goes to forum somehow the Kunena passing into the right forum for specific city.

If this is possible, I am thinking to create at high level:

Sydney
+ Financial Issue
+ Gambling Issue
Melbourne
+ Mental Health
+ Financial Issue
Perth
+ Gambling Issue

Or is there any other way/approach to handle this?

I assume you have one website (and therefore one installation of Kunena), one discussion board that is divided into the categories and forums that you described. If that is the case, you will probably find this discussion useful: Link Menu Item to Forum Category?
