Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

[Solved] How to make menu item for Kunena user profile was created by morfina

Hello all,

I've installed the kunena component in my joomla site but I still have the default joomla profile page setup. How can I change it to kunena profile? I tried with Menu > User Menu > New > Kunena Forum but this only adds the forum and I dont see nothing else...

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by default Joomla profile page or default profile link. Could you show us what you mean with a picture, please?

Change the menu item "Your details" Link
... from: index.php?option=com_user&view=user&task=edit
... to: index.php?option=com_kunena&func=myprofile

Thank you. But do I have to edit the Your Details (because it wont let me replace the links) or do I have to create a new External link Menu item ?

OK, I left out that small step but you're smart enough work it out now. You can either (a) change the existing "Your details" link, change the type to external link and then you can edit the link itself or (b) create a new, external link menu item with the link I've shown you.
