Lists and tags was created by PLURboy
I done a search and couldn't find this brought up anywhere before, so..

Is it normal for Kunena to put <br> tags when doing lists? Is yes, then to what purpose? It's making the spacing between list items way too big :S

Hello,

I don't know what is the purpose of <br /> in list, but maybe it's a mistake...

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

I cannot see how Kunena is responsible for inserting additional <br /> tags around <ul> ... </ul> tags. The line-spacing between <li> ... </li> items, or around <ul> ... </ul> or <ol> ... </ol> is controlled by the CSS. If you insert a line-break when you're creating a list in Kunena, the line-break will be stored as a <br />.

Ah I understand now! Thanks sozzled!

I wrote the bb code like
Code:
[ol] [li]list item 1[/li] [li]list item 2[/li] [/ol]
When I should have done it all in one line. My apologies for the armature-ish mistake!

You're very welcome, PLURboy. There's no need to apologise. It was a good question.

"Lists" in Kunena, and regulating the spacing between the elements (or around the list), has always been "fiddly". You're not alone; I often get it wrong, too!
