This question has been asked and answered more times than I can remember. Perhaps, by searching through the forum, looking for the keywords "video" or "movie" you will find the answer you're looking for. However, just to save you a bit of time, try Is it possible to post video/music in forum? or Video posting .

It would be helpful to know what type of video (e.g. AVI, MP3, WMV) you're trying to include in your post.

I'm posting to confirm I have Kunera 1.5.8 and are unable to post .flv and .mp4 files either.

ex:

For whatever reason it just doesn't recognize the format.

You can play MP4 files
Code:
[video type=mediaplayer]http://www.deathwing.us/media/snoop_and_martha_cooking_brownies.mp4[/video]

I don't know what helper application is needed to play FLV files; whatever the helper application is, I don't have it on my PC.
