Hello

My name is Sanjib and I am the owner of www.myyogaclub.com
My readers have been trying to add images to their posts but for some reason the kunena forum will not allow them. Basically, they have images on their desktop which they want to add by clicking on "select image to attach" and nothing happens. I have made sure that the size is big enough to take all images and also check the global configuration to ensure jpg and gif etc are all allowed.

Can somebody assist me here. If you go to www.myyogaclub.com and try to upload an image to any test post you write (unregistered users can post and upload images) and tell me if you can do it.

Many thanks for your help and hopefully someone can assist me:)
Cheers

hey i have just found out that the image does upload ok, its just that it doesn;t show on the preview section before you submit it. Is there anyway you can see the image in the preview section first?

Thanks

Sanjib,
I just discovered the same thing this morning! The image shows up only when you go in to edit you post, but NOT in the Preview or Edit areas. You need to scroll down a bit and you will see your post with the imagine in it, in the list with all the previous posts. Of the very few images we've been successful with, I notice that you never see them in the Preview screen.
This is just very strange! Every once in a while we do get an image to show up in a message, but more often than not it fails. Today, as I said, I see that the image IS there..just not showing up in the final destination, which is the displayed message.

Hello guys... look out what i found!!

www.ranger-2.com/discussion/r2-forum/26-...lam-ranger-2-squad#6

multiple images in 1 post... hehehe

How to do it, simple, using kunena ability to upload images from your hard drive.

Here they are:
After you choose the images file, then click the IMG tag, after that you click submit, ok? Nah, actually the kunena engine indeed uploading the file into the site, but only 1 file right ? What we're gonna do is re-edit our posted article in the forum, you see your image already posted right. click edit mode, then put the cursor where you want to put the second image.

Done ?, ok then select your images from hard drive, click again IMG tag, then submit. Recheck your posting, you should have 2 similar images in 2 places. After that is very simple, enter edit mode again, you should see [IMG]imagepath[IMG/] right ? ok... just change one of the file name on that path.... just the file name.

Ex :

[IMG]imagepath_image1[IMG/]

blablablablabla

[IMG]imagepath_image2[IMG/]

And voilaaa!!! you got 2 different images in one post.

But i realized this pretty slow and inefficient. If you have non-heavy-needs of multiple image, you may use this way until developer find the way for uploading multiple image, just like facebook right ? just click on images you want to upload, ta daaaa... there are all on the site. But i believe to do that, kunena will required ajax.

thank you

Well AJAX is something that has to be hacked into K1.5.. In K1.6 it will be easy to add.
