Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hello Everybody, and thanks for your time.

I tried to search a solution for this topic in different forums but it seems i can't find nothing so i'm asking.

I have a very specified behavior planned for my website. I'm using kunena on top of CB and both are perfectly installed and configured, and working.

My only point is that my Joomla user table (jos_users) it's being automatically populated by the register module of kunena/CB and i don't want this.

I would like to have 2 different tables for 2 different kind of users.

The joomla registration is disabled and i manually insert my membership paying costumer in back-end to make them post their news in home page.

Then, i would like to use the kunena as a public forum where you must register to get in, but just to post in the kunena forum and not in the Joomla Front-page too.

This means that when you log with joomla log-in module you can see the "user menu" to post in frontpage and instead, when you click on forum the login/register module it's open for registration but saves your data only in the fb_users table, so yes you can post in the forum but NO YOU CAN'T SEE the joomla user menu.

Any idea on how to conf this? Thanks for any help, appreciate!
