I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Answer:
To allow a forum to be viewed by a certain ACL - Backend / Forum Admin / "Your Forum" / Public Access Level.
To allow only registered users to post:
Backend / Foum Config / Security / Public Read Write - No.
To expand on the above, I would like to ask the following:
Can each forum be set to allow for a minimum ACL before a user can post or view, or multi select ACLs that can view that specific forum? Two drop down boxes for this I feel one for view, one for post.
I have the following ACL setup using JACL:
-- Registered (Joomla default)
---- Registered Non Paid
Associate Member
Full Member
When a user's account expires using AEC, they drop to Registered and they are classed as "Expired Member". This is to help us see active / non active members etc. Can a forum be configured as follows:
-- Public (not registered) - VIEW ONLY
---- Registered (Joomla default) - VIEW ONLY
Registered Non Paid - VIEW & POST
Associate Member - VIEW & POST
Full Member - VIEW & POST
Thanks

Ok thanks. At least it is on the "To Do List".
Is there a time scale for this?
