Reply only forum was created by MttJocy
Hi, I am new to this software however I have decided it should work great on my new site but I am having some issues. I have managed to find the option to make a locked forum but I can't seem to work out how to create a reply only forum.

To clarify what I'm looking for I want a forum, a news forum where only moderators/admins basically the site staff make new threads with stories or whatever, no regular members can create threads in this section in the forum. However registered users should be able to reply to threads that have been made by site staff, as such a locked forum is not appropriate it stops both new threads and replies.

How do I make a forum section which has these access policies:
Creating of new threads: Administrators, Moderators etc
Posting of replies in existing threads: All registered users, including staff
Reading of the forum: All users including guests

I really am lost trying to figure out how to do this I simply cannot find the correct options to set the permissions on this forum how they need to be, I'm really sorry if the answer to this question is already posted I tried searching a few terms I could think of that might find the answer but was unsuccessful.

This is not possible with the default settings, which is a shame.

There really is just not enough control over the forums in Kunena. Many features that are standard is most other Forum software is just nonexistent in Kunena.

Sticking with Kunena in hopes that they add these kinds of features soon, but I am starting to second guess using Kunena instead of PHPBB3.
