Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I've upgraded to Kunena 1.5.4 and everything seams to work but Youtube videos.

Can you see why?

That's not how you embed a YouTube video in Kunena.

See A basic forum help page for beginners in the Wiki. Also, search for "YouTube" in this forum for other tips on what to do.

Hey!
This is NOT how I have embedded the video.

i've used the inbuilt "add video" youtube in the WYSIWYG.

I've just posted what the Kunena forum outputs in the site's source code.

But, to be completely honest with you, I tried to test adding a YouTube video with both the IDs that you provided and neither of them worked for me either. So, here's a YouTube video to prove that it's not a problem with Kunena 1.5.4:

Perhaps, if you posted the link to YouTube where you saw the video(s) in the first place then we might be able to see what you've done wrong? Maybe YouTube have removed the videos? Maybe that's why it doesn't work?

I've found why!

You pointed me to see at the video ID, and the correct ID is: weZ3S2d5cxY

However when using the "add video" in the WYSIWYG editor it REMOVES the last letter, so the code become: weZ3S2d5cx

This must be a minor bug?
