Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

hi, currently in kunena the recent discussions page shows recent posts from all forum categories, but i do not want it to include a specific forum category, can u tell me how to do this? thanks!

Hi deathgame,

you can not select from which category show or not the thread.

Only way is to make some forum private and in this way the threads is not show in Recent Discussions page.

actually u see the specific category i do not want to include is the one that OBJECT CLARITY(discussion bot) posts the article comments in.....so if i make that private, will that somehow affect it?

UPDATE: Hmm it seems it is creating problems, as since its private registered users cant view the topic in the forums (though it works on the articles) :( ...can u please check and see if u can make a hack for this, atleast tell me what file i would need to edit(the one that controls recent dicussions) thnx

btw the reason im doing this is because there are lots of comments regularly and they take up majority of recent discussions ...which makes forum discussions to die down
