New Emoticons was created by brian24
Okay,

I read over how to create new smilies.

I got a new one I added to work.

Now I try to add a second and third, and I get a broken image and they do not work.

Here's what I've done.

-Add a new emoticon .gif image

-Added a second .gif named -grey.gif

-Went to control panel added a new smiley using the regular .gif image with a unique code.

So I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Help please.

Hi Brian,

there is a bug in Administration of Smiley and Rank image. Will be fixed in the next release.

Sounds good. I found the problem though. I added the new emoticons to the default emoticon folder, but I also had to add them to the emoticon folder of default_ex.

As well as doing everything else that you've done (for instance, making sure that the images are uploaded to the image folders of both the default and default_ex templates), to make the "-grey" images appear in message preview you have to make a small change to the database. See New smilies not displaying in preview .
