Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

I have everything installed and enabled but I don't see a link where a user can post! I'm sure this is something silly that I've missed, but I just haven't been able to figure it out.

Hi marcer,

do you have a category and forum created properly read here docs.kunena.com/index.php/How_to_create_...Forums_and_Subforums

Then check your security settings of forum docs.kunena.com/index.php/Forum_Setup%2C...s_for_special_Groups

Thanks, but yes, I followed all those instructions. I have the whole forum set to registered users only. I can see everything, my profile, my discussions, the categories show up, but there is nowhere to post.

Hi,

the problem is solved.
  1. You can't use Joomla style CSS - must be set to "No"
  2. You have create only 4 category - no forums was created (Documentation - You can never write posts into a Kunena Category - You can only write posts into forums)
  3. You have not select a Public and Admin access level for Category
