Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Ok, I'm still on phpBB3 (until a converter comes out that allows me to migrate my data to Kunena).

I have the component installed and activated, but I haven't added a menu option for it so users can't find it yet.

I can get to it if I type in the complete url, so I can test it.

I set up a couple of categories / forums, and typed a test message.

Now I'm getting a message back in my email box that says:

The odd thing is I haven't assigned anyone as a moderator yet..... so why is this being sent?

Go to backend, Components » Kunena Forum » Kunena Configuration » Security,
  • E-mail Moderators = No
  • E-mail Administrators = No
These are the original settings; that should stop the e-mails.

Ok, they only one that was set was the administrator, and I'm the only administrator!

So why would have emails been sent out for all the other users???
