How to stop email notifications
-- thread was locked and can not post in it anymore so opening another.

So looks like this was not the fix. In Joomla I have it set so that "Receive System E-mails" is set to "No", but on threads in the forum that I have posted in or others, and once someone else posts something new, all those that had posted in that thread all get an email.

It's like those that have posted are being subscribed to that thread which I don't want.

Any other ideas as to why everyone gets these.

Thanks,

Hi carterx,

sorry if you don't solve the problem. Try to do this.

Go to

Components -> Kunena Forum -> Kunena Configuration -> Frontend -> User Related

and set to "No" for "Post-subscription checked by default?" option.

Or it is already set to No??

Regards
