My site TwistedMac.com is now pretty much open to everyone and I hope to start pulling members in to sign up but when a new user signs up I get an email but I wish to turn this off. I thought I seen an option to turn this on/off but when I just looked now I could not find it.

Hi carterx,

go to Joomla backend -> User Manager and set to "No" for "Receive System E-mails" in your User Details.

When you say user backend I think you mean the Admin panel, so I went to the admin Panel, /Site/User Manager and could not find "Receive System E-mails" under this section. All I get under the "User Manager" is a list of the users. I also went under the "Global Configuration" and no option there either"

Am I thinking of the right spot when you say "Backend".

Thanks,

Hello,

This a configuration problem for Joomla not for Kunena.

Your are close to the goal, when you are in the user manager, select an user and choose edit, now you can check no for "Receive System E-mails".

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Thanks, that did the trick. That's an odd spot for Joomla to place that option. Should not have to select a user just to do that. Should be out in the open. Anyways, works now Thanks !!!
