Joomla 1.5.12
Community: CB 1.2.1
Kunena: 1.5.4
Looking to figure out what options I need to choose to get my categories to show to public. Currently I have Messages: 1 Total Subjects: 1 Total Sections: 6 Total Categories: 9 I have the forum set to start on categories view.
When I login I can see all of the categories and everything looks good. But I want the public w/o login to see and read the forum w/o the option to post. I thought I had read and set the options correctly, but I still cant get categories to show as a "public - non-logged in" user.
I understand that this may be an easy kind of lame question but the answer escapes me so I am coming to the experts for some (hopefully) quick and professional advice
Thanks, any help is greatly appreciated

1. Set the menu item (link to your forum) to public access.
Go to joomla backend -> components-> kunena forum-> kunena configuration -> Security
and set: Registered Users Only to NO
and Public Read/Write to NO
with this settings, all users can read the forum, but only registered users can write.

Thanks for the quick response.
OK, yes, I have Registered Users Only set to NO
and Public Read/Write set to NO but it still isn't working. Not sure what I am doing wrong.
