I've got a problem that I think is to do with my joomla template. The forum is displaying across three quarters of the page from the left but leaving a module sized gap on the right. Can anyone help? Cheers, Bruce.

Hi Bruce,

Just make double sure there is not a module posted in that right position. Looks like something is published there...

I've got a number of modules which are set to display on the home page but when I set the forum menu options, I made sure (I hope) that no other modules/menus came up.

It would seem (without knowing anything about your website) that the problem lies with your choice of Joomla template. I assume that you don't experience any problems with the standard templates that ship with Joomla?

You could wait for someone who's prepared to investigate your problem on your behalf - which could take a while (and you will need to provide them with the URL of your site) - or you could begin the process yourself. We recommend Firebug for Mozilla Firefox ( www.getfirebug.com ). This tool allows you to inspect your HTML and CSS and experiment with changes.

Every Joomla web template is unique and every templating "problem" has its own solution. You could also browse through the forums here to get a feel for what you might be able to do but, I think you'll find, the recommendation to use Firebug is invariably suggested as the best way to fix things ... after all, it's your website, isn't it? :)

I looked in firebug but I'm not experienced enough to deal with coding at this level. I can see where the fault is but don't know how to correct it.
Fig one shows the full page fame
and fig two shows the problem
but I don't know what I'm looking at. If you could help, I'd be grateful. Bruce.
