Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi. I just installed Joomla 1.5.11 and then installed Kunena. I made a menu item on the main menu and linked it to Kunena. When I go to the live page and click on teh menu item, it does show up a Kunena forum, but there are no categories, no button to start a new topic, etc. There is even a "welcome to Kunena" topic showing, but when I click on it, it times out.

When I click on Categories, it says:

There are no categories in the forum defined yet.
An administrator should create them first from the
Administration Panel of the Joomla OS CMS.

Inform them and tell them to hurry up!

They will know what to do


Unfortunately, i DONT know what to do! Can someone please help me set up the forum so that it is working? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

You need to create category and a forum in that category. Forums which have no parent are used to group real forums and you cannot post anything into those.
