I just did a fresh install of Kunena and am having problems right away. I can view every page from the front end. But when I try to click on a topic, I get the following page. It looks like it doesn't have any formatting or CSS configuration at all and it only displays my profile information. I have created a demo account so you can have a look around. here is the link:
www.cornholeplayersassociation.com/cpa
then just click on "CPA Forum" upon logging in.
Here is the screen shot of my problem
the demo username is: demo
and the pass is : demo123

Where do I begin? The website is incredibly slow. In my case I had to wait over 1 minute for each screen page to render.
You posted your question in the K 1.6 Support category. Did you read the information notes about this category? The first point made in the category description is "This category is for Kunena 1.6... issues only." You are using an old version of Kunena - K 1.5. I don't know what version you are using but the version you are using is outdated and no longer supported.
Therefore I have moved your topic to a more appropriate category.
I believe that you have a number of significant underlying issues on your website that prevent you using Kunena (or any other Joomla extension for that matter) until you address those issues first. For your benefit, you should read the technical requirements for Kunena - they might also help you with some of the Joomla issues that you seem to be having.
Before we attempt to wrestle with your current situation, I think it would be in your best interest to create a fresh, clean Joomla 1.5.22 installation and install the latest version of Kunena (K 1.6.3) on that installation and see if these two things work together on your server. If they don't then I don't think we're going to have much success with your current problems until we can find out why these basic building blocks won't work together. Does that seem like a reasonable plan of action to you?

Thanks for the response. I know it was in the wrong section. I realized that after I posted it and couldn't find out how to move it or delete it. As far as the server goes, i have never had issues with it being slow (besides when im in the forum after the install). That was another issue that I was going to ask about on here but I wanted to take it one step at a time. I'll try to do a install of the newest version, and get back with you. I just assumed that the 1.6 Kunena was for Joomla 1.6. I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks again.

If you read
technical requirements
document for K 1.6 (or if you had asked the question earlier) you would learn that that the numbering scheme "K 1.6" was pure coincidence as far as any association with Joomla 1.6 is concerned. You need J! 1.5.20 as the minimum Joomla platform to run K 1.6.
As things have turned out, K 1.6 is not yet certified ready for Joomla 1.6 in production usage. As things stand at the present time - now that J! 1.6 has been released and K 1.6 is still not 100% ready to be used with it - the choice of numbering Kunena in this way was probably not a good one. Oh well, we live and learn.
