I installed Kunena 1.5.13 a few weeks ago and most of it works great!
But i can't upload new avatar images.
After I select an image file and click "upload" I get a script error "window.addevent is not a function"

When I look at the runtime-generated source code I find an alert messages, that should be triggered with "window.addevent('domready'..." which says (German version)"Erst eine Datei auswählen, dann hochladen" which means in english: "select a file before upload"

I already checked the permissions for the media folder for avatars.
I copied an image file into the avatar directory using FTP and it works fine.
It is even possible to upload images to a forum post.

You can register, or even try to add posts, but your entries will not appear, because they have to be released by a moderator.

Thanks in advance,
Hannes

Why you didn't installed K 1.6.1 in that time? Now is also K 1.6.2?

We use Joomla 1.5.11 at the moment, and because of some customized components I don't want to upgrade now, if there is any chance to keep this Version working

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with Joomla 1.5.11 ... but K 1.5.13 was designed to work with J! 1.5.14 as stated in the technical requirements document . There is not much that we can do about that now.
