Can anyone recommend a gallery (joomla component) that is Kunena friendly (in other words provides direct links for use in IMG tags and not PHP links that Kunena is security concious off??

ThanX in advance

I understand the question and the security issues (e.g. [Solved by hack] JoomGallery IMG tags don't work in Kunena ).

The developers are looking at ways to overcome these image restrictions for a future release of Kunena possibly as early as K 1.6 but certainly in the planning for K 1.7.

Great.. As long as I know that it is being looked at I will continue with Joomgallery and for now I'll use the yvbbcode plugin to countermand the IMG tags in kunena but as this doesn't give resizing options it does mean a messy site but one I'm willing to put up with for now.

The question still stands though as options are always nice as to is there a kunena friendly gallery for 1.5 :)

On the joomgallery website is a little JG hack postet which put the JG URLs back to theire old form, so you don't need yvbbcode plugin ...

When I understand the post right you only need the new JG URLs if you are using watermark on your pictures and it will give a better solution in future ...

Yep I've seen the hack.. One of the reasons for going the Joomla/Kunena route is that I'm sick and tired of hacking the code to pieces on my current site (phpbb3) :D thanX for the input though :D
