Question Prevent a topic from appearing in "Recent Topics" tab????

Some of my Kunena 1.5.x community topics amount to pointless, useless, wanton bickering that I'd rather not be prominently displayed under "RECENT TOPICS".... I don't want to delete such topics since the posters might get bothered, but I certianly don't want my entire Forum community seeing topics that do not help my community environment.

So..... is it possible to prevent a specific CATEGORY or TOPIC from populating its content when the RECENT TOPICS tab is selected?

You might find fxstein's tip posted in Can I create hidden topic and move a thread into it? helpful to you. You will continue to see the messages, of course (assuming you're logged-in with the necessary access level) but your users won't see them.

With the soon released Kunena 1.6 you can setup which categories to show or not show in the recent tab. Like here on Kunena.com, where any postings in the Playground forum, never make it onto the Recent view.

We are planning to release Kunena 1.6 Beta at the end of this week.
