Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Hi there

We would like to know whether this is possibly or not in Kunena. Basically, we are creating a site where it has link city such as Sydney, Melbourne, Jakarta etc etc. If the user click Sydney for instance, then let say they are going to kunena forum they just straight to forum that associated with Sydney area for instance. Is this possible? Or maybe I have to setup first category called: Sydney in Kunena and then underneath has category forum?

I am appreciated your feedback/input.

Yes it can be done and yes it has been done, using K 1.6!. See Menu links to specfic forum categories for the discussion and to see a link to a demonstration of the solution.

You need Kunena 1.6 for this as the new router is what makes this possible.

Check out the Playground here on kunena.com as an example for this. You can also create new navigation and even have different Joomla templates per menu item.
