Question Your message has been sucessfully posted message

Hi,
Our forum posts are reviewed by moderators before being published. Users get this message when they post:

You message has been successfully posted.
It will be reviewed by a moderator before it will be published on the forum

But the message only stays on the screen for a few seconds which is not long enough for people to read it. Then users get confused about why their posts don’t immediately appear in the forum.
Can we change the time this message stays on the screen?

The entire behaviour of K 1.5.x (and K 1.0.x and Fireboard before it, and probably even earlier incarnations that leading up to Kunena 1.5) in connection with the "your message has been successfully posted" message, has been removed in K 1.6.

There is no such, timed "your message has been successfully posted" informational display in K 1.6.

If you want to change the time that the informational message stays on the screen in K 1.5.x this has been asked and answered numerous times before. You need to make a change to post.php (I think - and I could be wrong) and the instructions are posted elsewhere in this forum. I would give you more information but I'm sorry, I am busy with a few other things at the moment. I'll get back to you later if someone else hasn't answered this question for you (or you haven't searched and solved the problem yourself) in the meantime.
