Question [Merged topic] Replies start at the top - last post first

Each person has the ability to set this option according to their own preference. We've also discussed many times the desirability of altering this setting on a global basis (i.e. everyone views messages either "First Post First" or "Last Post First"). Personally, I don't think you should do that, but that is just my opinion. There is no global setting currently built into K 1.5 to achieve this, anyway.

Because I do not believe you should change other people's preferences, I haven't paid this matter much attention. My belief (someone else can correct me if I'm wrong) is that the default behaviour orders messages in ascending chronological sequence, starting with the oldest posting first. There's a good chance that other people at your site have not changed that ... and you would be wasting your time, anyway.

Would like the ability to set message viewing order to date-time descending or date-time ascending in the configuration options for Kunena. Despite the mention of this as a current feature in another thread by the same name on this board, I cannot locate it in Kunena 1.5.12.

Would also like the ability for users to over-ride the system default message posting sort order to either date-time ascending/descending. One setting per user for all forums would be sufficient.

And if I've missed something obvious in the current 1.5.12 config, I would truly appreciate someone setting me right.
