Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi,

I want to create two forums, one for members and one for vendors. So when they login as member or vendor, they are assigned to their respective forums. Is Kunena able to do this?

You can set up access for as many groups as you need.
I, for example, have 6 different groups that each can see their own forum but in the same time they all can see one "public" forum.
All you have to do is to create custom user groups and than set up access permissions for forums like: "only groupA can access this forum" etc. etc. etc.

Hello,

With Kunena 1.6.5 and ArtOfUser under Joomla! 1.5.x, you can do it. Or you can use Kunena 1.6.5 and Joomla! 1.7.1
