Kunena 6.2.6 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.6 [K 6.2.6] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

Tried to install German, but stays in English was created by freeme
I have installed Kunena on my website, Joomla was configured in EN. So also Kunena default was installed in EN.

I downloaded the language package, changed Joomla site & administrator to DE, installed the language package, but still the front end is in EN (see screenshot).


Below the configuration report.

Anyone an idea, how the get the frontend in German, thanks :)

Kunena has only included the language for de-DE. You have installed the language de-AT, but you need de-DE. There are two possibility.
1. Either you install the Joomla language de-DE and afterwards the
Kunena language package (is the easiest way), or
2. You can download the Kunena language package. Open this zip file and then also the included de-DE zip file. Rename all files from de-DE to de-AT.
Copy the files from the site folder to
languages/de-AT
and files from the admin folder to
administrator/language/de-AT
and rename the menu items (tabs) in the Kunena menu manually
