Do-you have installed the Kunena Language Package ? It doesn't work in backend or frontend or in both parts ?

If you have a mistake in the language file, Joomla! doesn't load it so you have only english loaded
So, you can check which language file are loaded by going into Joomla! configuration panel -> open the tab System and enable debug language, then go into Kunena in frontend and check in bottom of the page which files are loaded

Do-you have set the greek for default language for frontend ?
Do-you have something in "Parsing errors in language files" ?
