Question Recent Discussions empty after K1.0.10 upgrade

hi..

what i did was upgrade first from cb1.2 to cb1.2.1 - success - verified all the tables and database.

then i uninstalled k1.09 and installed k1.0.10. check configurations - ok.

now "Recent Discussions" tab is empty. My Discussions and Categories has no problem, only the recent discussions.

i tried recount category stats and checked recent discussions back, but still it is empty.

i tried posting a reply, and now the recent discussions shows it, but only that one reply, it used to have 20 topics listed in the recent discussions.

anyone who encountered this? thanks.

Can we assume that youre "recent discussions" has recent discussions ... that is, discussions posted within the past month? I get this problem a lot. I look at my test site and I can't see any recent discussions either ... because there aren't any

I can confirm that the posts were just made this month or still within 1 month. Prior to the upgrade it those messages were still listed in the recent discussions tab. But now with K1.0.10, it's no longer listed.

Many issues seem to exist, when kunena AND CB are installed. Do you have empty recent discussion tab, when CB is NOT installed?

@bytebandit01: Thanks. I didn't really expect something as obvious as that. Could you humour me for a moment longer, please: What version of Joomla! are you running? I haven't seen these problems with J! 1.5 ("legacy mode", of course), CB 1.2.1 and K 1.0.10. It could be some other interference.

The only two other confirmed unresolved problems that I've seen involving Community Builder and Kunena have occurred with J! 1.0.x installations. I'm trying to see if there's a common theme running here. CB-Kunena have Javascript-related problems (but these are fixed by using the compatible versions properly). I'm not sure if Javascript is involved in this "recent discussions empty" case.

i am running Joomla 1.5.10.

@sozzled , if i may ask.. how did you upgraded your site? like i mean.. did you upgraded first cb to 1.2.1 and then second by upgrading kunena to 1.0.10? that's actually how i did it.

i am thingking of trying out upgrading kunena first then followed by cb on another localhost.. i will post the result if that makes a difference..
